Southwest Airlines is currently offering a very limited-time flash promotion to earn a sought-after Promotional Companion Pass for almost free travel for a friend or family member from January 8 through March 8, 2024.
The Southwest Companion Pass is probably the most valuable perk of being a frequent Southwest flyer. You normally have to fly 100 one-way flights or earn 135,000 qualifying points in a calendar year… a hurdle that is simply too high for most people.
With this promotion, however, you just have to take one return trip with Southwest by September 30, 2023, to earn the promotional Companion Pass.
What’s the deal?
With this promotion, you can earn a Southwest Airlines Promotional Companion Pass with just one return flight on Southwest. As you can imagine, with such a lucrative offer, the promotion isn’t running for long, so you’ll have to move fast:
- If you’re not always a Southwest Rapid Rewards member, then you’ll have to sign up first
- Register for the promotion via this link
- Book a return flight or two one-way flights by the end of August 30, 2023
- Travel by September 30, 2023
You can only nominate one companion to use the pass, which will be valid for unlimited travel from January 8, 2024, to March 8, 2024.
The Companion Pass allows your friend or family member to travel with you whenever you fly with Southwest. You still need to pay taxes and some associated fees with the Companion Pass.
