An American Airlines passenger went into an epic meltdown after boarding a recent flight, and his potty-mouthed tirade has gone viral in a series of TikTok videos that documented the whole sorry saga.
What prompted the passenger to lose it so spectacularly isn’t entirely clear, although the man offered a few clues, shouting abuse at flight attendants and fellow passengers as he demanded a cord to charge his mobile phone, which was low on juice.
One poor flight attendant looked on helplessly as the man f-bombed the entire cabin multiple times, demanding to get off the plane but also refusing to move from close to his seat in an emergency exit row of an American Airlines Airbus A321.
Fellow passengers looked on in stunned disbelief, perhaps afraid to intervene and draw the man’s ire towards them.
While the man hasn’t been formally identified, he did give a few clues as to who he was, loudly telling the cabin that he was a rapper and that he was currently working on a feature with the American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Kodak Black.
Whatever the cause of the man’s meltdown, he certainly didn’t seem very pleased with American Airlines, telling no one in particular that the carrier had “lost a lifetime customer” and that he was “never coming back.”
Whether American Airlines will be sad to have lost this particular customer remains to be seen.
If the man is to be believed, however, at least he shouldn’t have too many problems finding another airline or even flying a private jet. Proudly telling the stunned passengers that he was a millionaire while sitting in Economy.
In another video, the man tells a flight attendant that she has beautiful eyes, but then claims she was the root cause of his anger because she had somehow “disrespected” him.
In another video, the flight attendant explains that she had simply asked to be seated prior to takeoff… a request that the man had apparently ignored.
