Social media star and ‘Owning Manhattan’ alum Savannah Gowarty was involved in a bizarre accident aboard a recent Delta Air Lines transatlantic flight from Lisbon to New York JFK, the realtor has revealed.

Taking to TikTok, Savannah revealed that she had to have emergency dental work after somehow chipping one of her teeth on the center divider in the Delta One Suite during the recent nine-hour flight.

It’s still not clear how Savannah managed to chip her tooth on the partition, but it’s been claimed that the electric divider started to move upwards on its own while she was leaning over to talk to her seatmate.

Savannah claims that Delta decided to deactivate the center partition on Delta One Suites across its fleet while an investigation into the accident gets underway, although a spokesperson notes that all partitions and doors on its Business Class suites are fully operational.

Savannah appeared in the first season of the Netflix hit reality show Owning Manhattan, and quickly won over fans as a newbie realtor at the luxury real estate agency SERHANT.

Owning Manhattan has been renewed for a second season, but sadly, Savannah isn’t likely to feature as she now works for rival agents Compass.

In the last few weeks, Savannah has been sharing her photos on Instagram from her time in Northern Italy and Portugal, although it appears that her return flight to New York might have been the most adventurous part of the whole trip.

Known for her classic Southern charm, Savannah had nothing bad to say about Delta, sharing in a comment on her TikTok video: “I was taken very well care of and Delta covered everything!”

The now viral video has already been viewed more than two million times, and, of course, Savannah used the instantly recognisable Jet2 Holidays commercial music to accompany her video.

Last year, Savannah also went viral for her airplane-related content when she shared a video of a JetBlue cabin filled with a fine mist that she described as appearing “to be raining in the cabin.”

Savannah said she was left cold and wet for a return flight to New York after a tropical vacation, but a JetBlue spokesperson pointed out that the mist was not only common but most likely the reason for Savannah being wet.

“The condensation or mist is common, especially in humid climates, and does not cause wetness inside the aircraft,” the airline said at the time.

“We believe the customers were wet due to heavy rain that occurred as they were boarding via an outside ramp and stairs.”

Delta said it has apologized to Savannah for the incident that occurred earlier this month.

  • You gotta be kidding me. Why was she trying to eat the divider? Is this nutcase actually blaming Delta? Sh** happens! Would you blame the auto manufacturer if you slammed your finger in the door of your car? Would you sue the linoleum tile manufacturer if you slipped on your kitchen floor? I love 1990’s comment, “…cheese with your whine?” One only has to look at the TLC program lineup to see the myriad of asinine reality shows thrown at the public AND the dumb masses that watch this drivel and think that it’s reality!
