TikTok Evangelist Gets Banned From Alaska Airlines After Subjecting Passengers to Mid-Aisle Sermon

Until only a little over a decade ago, flight attendants at Alaska Airlines were expected to hand out ‘inspirational’ prayer cards that quoted from Psalms to First Class passengers during the meal service. Now, the airline has banned a TikTok evangelist who subjected a plane load of passengers to a mid-aisle sermon before the plane pushed back from the gate.

Before Spirit Airlines filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, evangelist Whitney Lynn had previously gone viral in January 2025 when she issued a ‘prophetic warning’ about the state of Los Angeles just moments after the plane touched the tarmac at LAX.

In fact, it’s probably one of the softest messages I’ve ever shared. That’s why I was so shocked. But the truth is, demons tremble at the name of Jesus. It doesn’t matter whether the message is soft or bold—when you share the gospel, it offends some people. The Bible says it is foolishness to those who are perishing. I want to encourage you: don’t you dare let anyone intimidate you. Don’t you dare stop preaching the gospel. Even if you’re called out by the police or kicked out of somewhere, all the more, let your voice be heard. These are the days to rise up, not shrink back. I believe a time is coming when many will face persecution for preaching the gospel. It’s already happening in other countries, where people are being imprisoned and even killed for the sake of Jesus Christ. So don’t be silent. Rise up. Grow in boldness and power, because the same resurrection power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in you. I believe in every one of you. During a recent ground delay at Orlando International Airport (MCO), Whitney decided to use the opportunity to deliver another mid-aisle sermon to a packed plane load of stunned Alaska Airlines customers. The result? Not only was she booted off the plane, but Alaska Airlines has now banned her from future travel while it investigates whether she should be placed on the ‘No Fly List.’

“Hello, everybody. Good morning. I know we’re all waiting. It’s kinda frustrating. Right? This wait. But I wanna tell you that god’s timing is perfect, and god knows everything. And maybe he’s sparing us from danger today,” Whitney announced to the entire plane.

“So I want you to rest and know that Jesus Christ loves you so much that he died on the cross for your sins. He rose again in three days. He’s alive, and he’s the one true god. But the wages of arson is death, hell forever. Apart from Jesus, we won’t make it to heaven. He loves you so much. Make him lord. Repent of your sins. He is coming back very soon. I pray protection over this flight in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Bless you, guys. Bless you. Amen.”

None of the flight attendants immediately intervened, allowing Whitney to have her moment, but behind the scenes, they had already decided that she wasn’t going to be traveling on their plane.

A ground manager was being contacted, along with law enforcement to have her removed from the plane. Whitney documented the moment that she was asked to get off the plane, with the ground manager telling her that she was being kicked off because the flight attendants “didn’t feel safe” with her on board.

“I’ll tell you what this is… it’s called spiritual warfare,” Whitney said. “Demons don’t like the name of Jesus… It’s not safe to talk about the gosep,” Whitney added. “Is it a crime? Is it against the law?”

“Last day’s people. Can’t talk about Jesus anymore,” Whitney continued as she collected up her belongings. “We’re being persecuted… being persecuted for being Christian.”

Whitney documented her removal from the plane in several TikTok videos, going off at the ground manager after he tried to shut a door on her in the departures concourse. Whitney was told that she could rebook onto an alternative flight, but when she did exactly that, it wasn’t before she received an email from the Alaska Airlines Group.

“I am writing to inform you that we have placed a hold on your ability to travel with Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Horizon Air flights,” the email started. “This decision was based on reports we received regarding your recent travels with us. While we investigate, you are unable to travel on Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Horizon Air.”

“Upon conclusion of our investigation, we will reach out to you once again with a final decision. Thank you for your patience, while we take the appropriate investigative steps,” the email added.

So, what does Whitney plan to do next? She says that her First Amendment rights as a Christian are being infringed upon.

“I guarantee you if I stood up on that plane, and I talked about LGBTQ and pro abortion, and I hate Trump. I would probably get applauded,” Whitney added in a follow-up video. “This is definitely a spiritual war. We know it’s the end times.”
