Etihad Airways is offering a rapid sale with 20% off both Economy and Business Class tickets for the next two days only.
The Summer Splash sale is running from June 12 to 14 for flights departing between 1 July and 30 September 2023. To get the discount, you’ll need to book your flights directly through the Etihad Airways website and use the promotion code: SUMMERSPLASH
Etihad’s chief revenue officer Arik De said he hoped the promotion would appeal to travellers who are yet to book their summer travels.
The 20% discount only applies to the base fare and excludes taxes and surcharges. As Head for Points noted, this promotion will, therefore, offer a better discount on Business Class fares as the base fare makes up more of the overall cost of the ticket, whereas Economy tickets are mostly made up of taxes.
Also, be aware that this promotion only applies to adult fares and excludes both child and infant fares. Unfortunately, the promotion isn’t included across all of Etihad’s network, with notable exceptions including the airline’s Abu Dhabi home.
There are various destinations on offer, dependent on where you start your journey, with popular options including Bangkok, Sydney and Seychelles.
As well as the Summer Splash promotion, Etihad is also offering up to 33% off flights to and from Manchester to celebrate Manchester City’s treble-winning season (of which Etihad is a major sponsor).
The savings period is for flights between August 1 and November 15, 2023, but flights have to be booked by June 13 at the latest.
